Valley View is situated just two miles from Thurso and three miles from Castletown and Dunnet. 

From Thurso
Leave Thurso on the A836 to Castletown, you will pass a telephone box on the left, soon after you will come to 50 mile an hour signs.  On the right is an old school which is now a community centre, just past this is a lane and the Valleyview house sign, about 30 yards up the lane is Valley View Bed and Breakfast.

From Castletown
Leave Castletown on the A836 to Thurso.  Pass the Murkle turn off on the left, and the West Murkle turn off on the right.  You will see a group of buildings (the old school and some dwellings), turn left immediately before these buildings.
